IM

I wish everyone had IM on most of the time. I would rather riff over IM than on phone for most casual communications. I do find it strange when an IM goes to a mobile phone.

Hey.
It'd be great if you could send me an invite?
Can't find many people who give them away anymore, i appreciate your generosity.
Cheers

The problem with IM, like cell phones, is that people get annoyed if you don't turn on, or don't respond. Just the other day I got an email from someone that was pissed that I didn't turn on my IM client. Lame. I shouldn't have to feel like I need to be immediately accessable to any person that thinks they need to reach me.

IM is destroying America. Whatever happened to people talking face to face?
