Thousand Year Old Egg

So K. brought in a Thousand Year Old Egg for me and L. to try. This was my first one. The white part (or should I say black part) of the egg had an interesting rubbery texture. The whole thing smelled a lot like soy sauce and a little like peanut butter. The yolk was not as rubbery and had an interesting flavor. I would eat them again, but don't crave them. I really did enjoy trying them -- I am a sucker for eating unfamiliar food.

Huh! I do enjoy trying strange Oriental snackage... and it's almost Blogathon time, which = doing weird things to keep myself awake.
