So lately I’ve been bicycling more. I have one question. When on a mixed use trail, when I say in a clear voice “Passing on the left”, why do people panic and move in every direction?
Many questions you have been asking lately, much inquisitiveness I sense in you.
So imagine you are biking and you have headphones on and you are thinking about your next trip to Mazatlan. You continue to bike laxidazically when someone who is on a mission to complete his biking trip interrupts your daydream and wants to pass.
Suddenly you are thrown from paradise into having to make a quick decision, that decision is…where in the heck is my left???
It has happened to me several times!

Whatever you do: if you’re riding and a cicada
hits you in the head, prepare to be knocked off
the bike. It nearly happened to me two days ago.
